The Female Deaconate of God's House Baptist Ministry was established in June of 2005.  The purpose of any diaconate is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by ministering to those who need help and care.  This diverse group of twenty (20) strong laborers are honored to serve and to be servants.

What do we wish?

• We wish to serve.
  

Whom do we wish to serve

• God
  

• the poor
  

• the needy
  

And what is our reward?

• We do not serve either for reward or for thanks, but out of gratitude and love; our reward is that we may do this!
  

Our duties specifically are to assist the Deacons Ministry and the Pastor in promoting spiritual guidance through worship, mission, giving financially and discipleship!  You can also witness this ministry in the preparation and administration of the ordinances.  This group of ladies is also a part of the "sisterhood" which promotes and coordinates activities that work towards the development of the spiritual life of women and girls of the church.

"By love serve one another" (Galatians 5:13) and "Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" (Matthew 40) are two passages ever foremost in the mind of the deaconess.  The word itself, diaconate, means service, and service is the deaconates' purpose.

PASTOR'S ADJUTANTS
